Blue Lightning Solar is a privately-owned Boise and Treasure Valley business that specializes in solar solutions for off-grid or grid-connected systems. Greg Olson, CEO of Blue Lightning Solar, founded the company in 2010, with the goal of doing his part to solve our domestic energy problems. Starting in the Navy in aviation electronics, Greg studied metallurgical engineering at Boise State University and University of Idaho. He worked for HP for 10 years, leaving in 2002 as the “buck stops here guy.” As a leader in solar technology, Greg is passionate about caring for the natural world, finding connection to God through nature.
